A solo design journey to build GPT Protocol’s entire visual presence—from branding and product logos to 3D website design and social content—driving recognition in the AI x Web3 space.®

Building the Face of a Decentralized AI Ecosystem

As the only designer at GPT Protocol from Jan 2024 to Feb 2025, I reported directly to founder Peter Peng to lead all creative direction. My responsibilities covered the entire design spectrum—branding, 3D web design, motion graphics, and social media creatives.
I designed logos for all core AI products—Neura Swap, Cortex, Genesis3D, and Synapse—each with a distinct identity yet aligned with the overarching brand. I also designed GPT Protocol's 7-page website with high-quality Blender-rendered 3D graphics, built intuitive UX flows in Figma, and crafted all social media visuals from scratch.
My work helped define the face of GPT Protocol, contributing to over 2M USD in funding, growth in token holders, and increased credibility in a crowded decentralized AI space.

Problem

Problem

Problem

Creating a new identity for a decentralized AI protocol in its early stages, with no existing design system, while learning core AI concepts on the go.

When I joined GPT Protocol in early 2024, the AI space was still new to many. As a designer, I had to first self-learn the basics of Machine Learning to better understand the products I was designing for. The company needed a complete visual identity, starting from nothing—no previous branding, no design system, no moodboards.
The challenge was to make GPT Protocol look credible, modern, and innovative in both AI and blockchain circles. The website needed to explain AI + decentralization in simple visuals, and social media had to build trust while being engaging. With no design team, I had to manage the entire design stack alone.

Solution

Solution

Solution

A full-stack design system—from brand to build—fueled by self-learning, consistency, and modern tools.

I used Figma for website and UI/UX design, Blender's Cycles engine for high-quality 3D scenes, Photoshop for social creatives, and After Effects for animations.
For branding, I created a visual language that felt futuristic yet clean—logos with symbolic intelligence, bold fonts, and a minimal color palette that scaled across all platforms.
The 7-page website (Home, Learn, Build, Solution, Network, Community, Whitepaper) was designed to educate visitors clearly while keeping the futuristic 3D aesthetic alive.
Social media posts were all made from scratch, covering topics like education, product updates, memes, and community growth. This consistency in brand color, form, and tone helped GPT Protocol grow recognition—so much that other projects started copying our posts.
I also designed pitch decks and press release creatives that supported company growth, funding efforts, and new partnerships.

Where design meets learning: from zero to full-stack visual identity in the AI + Web3 revolution.

GPT Protocol was not just a job—it was a transformation. With no prior experience in AI or 3D tools, I taught myself everything from Machine Learning basics to 3D rendering and built a real-world design system that worked.
The most valuable part of this experience was growth—learning to combine education with design, shaping a brand from scratch, and delivering consistent results that helped the company raise funds and build trust.
From the Genesis3D product launch to token-holder community building, every visual I created was meant to represent decentralized intelligence with clarity and boldness.
